As an insurance agent for over a decade, Ed performed structural home inspections specific to the insurance industry. That in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry now informs his approach to the home inspection process.

As a veteran of The United States Coast Guard, Ed is committed to providing each and every client the same level of integrity and professionalism he brings to everything he does so you can feel confident that your inspection will be thorough and accurate and that it will be handled with professionalism from beginning to end.

Company cofounder, Alex Gutowski, was born in Fort Myers Florida and raised in the Port Charlotte/Englewood area. When he was young, he moved to the Pacific Northwest where he gained knowledge in the various states that he resided in: Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, Colorado, and Arizona before the “Sunshine State” called him back. After living in Englewood and working in construction and HVAC on Boca Grande for several years, he moved to the Sarasota/Bradenton area. Alex owned and operated a successful Computer Networking and Repair Business in Sarasota for 14 years. Alex became a real estate agent serving the greater Bradenton and Anna Maria Island area where he further increased his knowledge base of Florida residential homes and their components. Alex is now a fully licensed and certified Florida Home Inspector.

Alex’s extensive knowledge of construction, HVAC and Florida residential structures gives him the insight needed to perform thorough inspections with focus on the critical components of the HVAC systems, that help make a Florida home comfortable. Alex’s years of computer repair and networking have honed his critical thinking and attention to detail skills, further enhancing his thorough inspection abilities. Finally, having been a Florida real estate agent Alex knows the importance and nuances needed to navigate the minefield that is the wording used in his residential home inspection reports.
